Sara Favriau leads a long-term work. A large set of small hybrid and mixed sculptures are created as a result of walks in every environment where she is invited. There is so much materials and localities offer, each one so singular. Pebbles, plants, bones, feathers, debris, purposes… are the result of her peregrinations. They have and will be gathered during multiple walks through the landscapes that she surveys. The Alpilles, the Camargue, the Saudi desert, the Californian palm grove… A tiny world tour, a pocket handkerchief.
In this exhibition, the calanques will try to reveal themselves. The landscape will appear in the studio as a gathering and then as an exhibition. These sculptures will form a lexicon, a grammar, whose mixture comes from culture and environment.
