On 4 March 2022 the Atelier of artists in exile Marseille (aae-m) is organising a presentation of the poetry collection “Printemps birman”.
The poetry collection “Printemps birman” presents 14 Burmese and Rohingya poets and 7 photographers, exiled, imprisoned, assassinated by the military since the coup in February 2021. Others are forced to hide their identity. Their works are testimonies in which flabbergasted, angry and determined are mixed.
Héliotropismes is a publishing house based in Marseille that publishes literature from the margins and is interested in the social memories that gravitate to the periphery. It pays particular attention to border narratives that trace the experiences of exile, social or urban margins.
